It bubbles and roars, it waves and crashes. Like driftwood, we float aimlessly with the ocean currents, feeling the depths of the sea pull at us. Down to the bottom, beneath the surface, where the life of the sea unfolds.

Welcome to the Blue Lagoon, to the Bering Strait, to the Limfjord. Welcome to the pond, the bathtub, to Sortedam Lake. Let the gills unfold and follow the current in schoals of fish while the sun sets in the west.

THE SIGH OF THE SEA is a tribute to the sea, a poetic wake-up call, an invitation to curiosity and care, a rallying cry for the future. It’s about the sea that surrounds us, its mythical role and its decay, about Mother Ocean, surfers, and a marine biologist. About the fish, seals, and jellyfish. They have been given a voice and melody in a series of movements that together form THE SIGH OF THE SEA.
